Sorry for the delay. Here is the grep output:
/dev/sda1 on /media/IAUDIO type vfat (rw,nosuid,nodev,shortname=mixed,uid=1000,utf8,umask=077,usefree) For some reason this time it was very hard to get the copy to freeze, took copying many more files than had caused it before. (FYI the mp3 player is 2GB, so its not a space issue). Anyhow I've also attached a screenshot that shows the character of the freeze. Ah, now I see an IO error in the kern log so I'll reattach. So now that its frozen, I'll reboot and attach the mount into when I manually mount the filesystem (for comparison). .b.
