Sorry Alexander, but the latest upgrade to Hardy network- manager-0.6.6-0ubuntu2 didn't change the non-working atheros for my AR5211 and AR5212's - when connecting to the different APs with WPA1 and hidden SSIDs I have access to. Rolling back to the network- manager_0.6.5-0ubuntu16.7.10.0_i386.deb as described above still makes all of them work.
Is there any way to make the ipw2200 working for Hardy. As fare as I can find out, NM does not pass the SSID specified in the configuration made with KNM. When I try to connect, executing a "iwconfig eth1" from the CLI, constantly shows no "essid". Executing a "iwconfig eth1 essid MYSSID" while NM tries to connect, makes it connect right away. Is this probably caused by a missing "scan_capa" capability ?. I would be happy to help solve this issue, as I know of a lot of laptop using thees wireless chipset (ipw2200bg/ipw2915abg). -- can't connect to hidden network https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/50214 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
