Hardy Beta is almost there and this bug is still unfixed. Please, fix this issue. Hardy is a LTS release, thus many people are going to be bitten by this bug. A few years ago > 2TB was crazy but nowadays is quite usual in servers and it will be usual in desktops in a couple of years (1TB hard disks are already usual in high end desktops).
