I seem to be having a similar problem, Linux monkey 2.6.22-14-generic with v4l patches applied for Nova-T-500 dual tuner sometimes when I select a prerecorded show whole screen turns pink and everything freezes no ssh and nothing in the logs. I can only hard reset.
