Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: epiphany-extensions

System: Xubuntu Hardy

epiphany-browser 2.22.0-0ubuntu5
epiphany-extensions 2.22.0-0ubuntu1

When enabling the Error Viewer extension in Epiphany, the Check HTML
function is greyed out in the Tools menu. Disabling and re-enabling the
extension (under Extensions) makes it active, but throws this error when
trying to validate a webpage:

Error viewer: No valid doctype specified.

This happens on every webpage that is validated. Maybe a required
package is not installed?

Terminal output gives back an error as well when Check HTML is invoked,
but i'm not sure if this error is related:

(epiphany-browser:9924): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: invalid cast from
`MozillaEmbed' to `GtkMozEmbed'

** (epiphany-browser:9924): CRITICAL **: void
gtk_moz_embed_get_nsIWebBrowser(GtkMozEmbed*, nsIWebBrowser**):
assertion `GTK_IS_MOZ_EMBED(embed)' failed

** (epiphany-browser:9924): WARNING **: Could not get nsIScriptError

** Affects: epiphany-extensions (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
