Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: flashplugin-nonfree

If you install the flashplugin-nonfree package and then remove it in
order to use Gnash, Firefox reports that there is no Flash plugin and
requests you to install it, but this issue is not fixed even if you
instruct Firefox to reinstall Gnash. This in turn requires that you
setup Gnash on Firefox manually.

** Affects: flashplugin-nonfree (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
