I don't know about anyone else but I run synergy out of gnome session
configuration (System->Preferences->Session->Startup Programs). I'm not sure
that this handles shutting the process down cleanly, but I'm guessing that
it's not happening till "Sending all process the term signal..." at the end
of the shutdown sequence.
