Same here on a fresh Gutsy following the PostgreSQL part near the bottom of this outdated howto: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Drupal
The Pg-part (changed 8.1 to 8.2) went fine. Tested it as suggested, OK. In the following Drupal part (changed 5.1 to 5.7) $ sudo wget ... gave me a 404. Maybe I was asking to much so instead at this point I headed to Synaptic for drupal5 (=5.2). The first Drupal installation screen asked if pgsql was Ok. Somewhere just after my confirmation the installation screen was covered by a similar one for Postfix. Less then half convinced I decide to abort at the second form, so canceled. Then trouble started. Tried to remove Drupal via Synaptic, failed: same as OP. Went to sleep last night. Today more trouble starting up my machine, halting for minutes at about 1/3 of the progression bar then finally succesfully finished at the login screen. Searched around, found you and also the suggestion to now autoclean (failed too) > clean, > autoremove. So probably another fresh Gutsy install soon, then find me another Drupal install howto (tips?). -- package drupal5 5.2-1ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 10 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/131040 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
