@Erik de Castro Lopo Does it still happen with current Hardy. Could you please post your file /etc/X11/xorg.conf and /var/log/Xorg.0.log? According to upstream it possibly appears only with Xaa which isn't used anymore in Hardy for Intel hardware afaik.
