Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.24-12-generic

I'm using Ubuntu Hardy with latest updates, on an Asus A6R-B039H laptop.
In order not to have USB stopping working after a few minutes, I have to set
irqpoll in boot options in /boot/grub/menu.lst

Without irqpoll, problem is not present, so I'm sure it comes from it
:-)

In older versions of Ubuntu (Edgy, Feisty and Gutsy) it was leading to a
slower system, but on Hardy it leeds to mouse lagging. When I start a
program, Firefox for example, the mouse cursor stop moving and has
"broken" movement (it think it is "crappy" in english but i'm not sure),
while the touchpad is still working well without slower movement. I'm
using an usb Logitech optical mouse.

Here is my lspci output :
