You have been subscribed to a public bug: Running Kubuntu 7.10 64 on an AMD 64 X2 system with a Benq PF95G 19" LCD monitor.
Installing Kubuntu 7.10 64 selected the monitor and gave it right settings. So I wished to change the settings a little bit, from default 1280x1024 one step down to get a little bit larger letters on the screen. - I used the Systems settings - Monitor to do that. - As a result of that, I have got the settings down to 640x480 and lost the possibilities to set it back to 1280x1024. Also the frequency is sat down to 50Hz with no possibility to set it up again. - There is no info about the screen left in the info centre. This must be the result of a bug somewhere in the System Settings software. How can I get around the problem and fix the settings back to installation values without rebooting the system? ** Affects: kde-guidance (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Screen settings disappeared in Kubuntu 7.10 64. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/201382 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Team, which is subscribed to kde-guidance in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
