Hi, I have found similar problem with Hardy Alpha 6 in Laptop Sony VGN-C2Z/B: At boot: ACPI: EC: acpi_ec_wait timeout , status = 0, expect_event 0 1 ACPI: EC: read timeout, command = 128 I think is related with kernel bug: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10101
