I'm untagging this bug, as there is a work-around, which most people affected by this issue would do anyway. The workaround is simply to switch back to using metacity as the window manager. I have done this for the accessibility profiles on the hardy live CD, so it won't affect users.
However, this should be looked at in greater deatil for Intrepid, as compiz does give some useful features, especially for people with low vision, making use of the eZoom plugin. ** Tags removed: qa-hardy-desktop -- compiz doesn't "talk" when switching windows https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/127705 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
