I had to uninstall Ubuntu after I encountered Bug #199536. Therefore I can't supply the information you have requested. I believe is may have something to do with the display driver Ubuntu Update Manager supplied me because on a fresh install of Ubuntu my wireless works perfectly, and once I installed the NVidia Graphics drivers (alone) and rebooted I no longer had any way to network wirelessly.
