Just look at the bugs fixed and features added in Plugins-Good, including bug fixed for UVC webcams, and equalizer, audio effects, and better support for QT files. In Plugins-Ugly, there is now support for accurate mp3 seeking. http://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/ This definitely needs to get into Hardy.
