I created a script in ~/ named some_elf just for testing purposes. Inside of that script I had:
kdisplay --yesno "Are you sure?" I did a chmod +x on the file to make it executable. Alt+F2 to open up KRunner, and then I typed: /home/nixternal/some_elf Pressed the launch button and it executed the file. Is this still an issue for you? If so, are you using Gutsy or Hardy for KDE 4? Thanks! ** Changed in: kdebase-workspace (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Richard Johnson (nixternal) Status: New => Incomplete -- [hardy] krunner is unable to run "$HOME/some_elf" or any command with an environment variable https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/193510 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
