Public bug reported:

In gxine, subtitles is not displayed anymore, but few days later it
worked well. I thought I messed up something so I do following:

- delete ~/.gxine
- delete ~/.xine
- try it again
- try it with another user
- reboot and try all again

Nothing helped. Today (22.feb.2008) a new updates was installed on my
computer (via update manager). I keep my system up to date and
everytimes that orange icon of new update appeared, I run update so it
wasn't a big cumulative update, just few packages. In the attachement, I
send you list of last installed 50 packages, important (xine related)
are these (date of update, package name):

2008-02-19 libxine1_1.1.10-1~gutsy1_i386.deb
2008-02-19 libxine1-bin_1.1.10-1~gutsy1_i386.deb
2008-02-19 libxine1-console_1.1.10-1~gutsy1_i386.deb
2008-02-19 libxine1-ffmpeg_1.1.10-1~gutsy1_i386.deb
2008-02-19 libxine1-gnome_1.1.10-1~gutsy1_i386.deb
2008-02-19 libxine1-misc-plugins_1.1.10-1~gutsy1_i386.deb
2008-02-19 libxine1-plugins_1.1.10-1~gutsy1_all.deb
2008-02-19 libxine1-x_1.1.10-1~gutsy1_i386.deb

This problem occurs when I open .avi file and if there is .srt subtitles
file. In my case it is cp1250 encoded subtitles. But I know it worked
just few days ago. I also tryied to convert it to utf8 or plain ascii
but it doesn't help. So there must be something bad in that xine
updates.

Thanks.
