I'm sorry, perhaps the point of my report got lost in the details. The Hardy Alpha4 amd64 livecd fails to boot to the desktop and dumps the user into limbo.
I expected the livecd to boot to the desktop or explain why it wasn't possible. In what sense is this "not a bug"?
