Thanks for reporting this issue.
Could you please tell what setting you have under "Configure Panel ->
Menus -> K Menu (Menu Item Format)" (right mouse-button over status
panel -> Panel Menu -> Configure Panel). There should be four options.
"Name only", "Name - Description", "Description only" and "Description
Name" you probably want to switch on one of the options that have both
(Name and Description) in it.
How does it change if you change the options?
