Hey TerryG. I've run both Edgy and Feisty without this problem. It has happened only in Gutsy. But it didn't start just after upgrading to Gutsy. Like mciancio says it started to happen about 2-4 weeks ago.
I think I in fact did eject a CD-ROM without pressing the eject button that time. But I'm almost certain that this isn't the problem since it has happened several times (perhaps ~15 times) and I rarely use my CD- ROM drive and I never use my floppy drive. My motherboard is an ASUS P4S8X-X.
