xrandr rotation seems to do bad things with the following board: 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc Radeon RV100 QY [Radeon 7000/VE] (prog-if 00 [VGA controller]) Subsystem: Hightech Information System Ltd. It's sometime possible to switch to the text console, but not always. In this case, a reboot is necessary (along with a modification of the .gnome2/monitors.xml file in order to restore rotation to normal). ** Affects: xserver-xorg-video-ati (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- rotation doesn't work with this board https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/197680 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
