Thanks for your quick response. Marking as Confirmed. Suspend on
laptops is critical for users, and there are several tricks to try
(search toshiba suspend in the Ubuntu forums). You have a recent Intel
graphics chipset (945). I have the desktop version of the same embedded
Intel graphics, and suspend works OK on my desktop with Gutsy. It takes
6 seconds to go to sleep and 6 seconds to wake up. I don't have a
toshiba notebook to test, so you will have to rely on the forums for
some tricks to get working.
If suspend worked in Feisty but not in Gutsy, then we have a regression
in capability.
A quick search of the forums shows that you are not alone.
