My apologies - I understand the Dapper vs Edgy versioning situation. I'm using a 6.6.1 deb from another Radeon bug here on Dapper to fix the Cairo/Ubuntulooks theme rendering problems in the original Dapper drivers. I would just apt-get source and dpkg-buildpackage this new driver release, but the package says it needs newer libraries than are available in Dapper so I'm curious to know which of these dependencies can be ignored and which need further attention.
