I had thought about this after the bug submission.

But then IMHO the other emacs packages also should be changed. I mean
the whole point of groups in /etc/alternatives is to avoid:

1. having to discover which are all files affected;
2. making repeated calls to 'enforce consistency'|'avoid breakage'.

I use emacsclient *all* the time (and knew about the emacs version
incompatibility) , and I didn't even bother checking if there was a
/etc/alternatives for it.
