Public bug reported:
Using the Alpha 5 CD and then allowing the updates to occur appears to be
successful.
Selecting the restricted accelerated driver (I have a Geforce2 MX400) which has
worked fine until about the alpha 5 time frame now results in the following
failure.
At boot up the log in screen appears at a much lower resolution that before the
switch, and after logging in a sand colored background and the cursor are the
only visible things.
I have tried this three times, this last time touching the bare minimum until
getting an updated system and then trying to use the restricted driver.
