System: Ubuntu 8.04, alpha5 Gnome 2.21.92 Kernel 2.6.24-10-generic
Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 1.60GHz, at 2000.395 MHz. Graphics card: nVidia Corporation NV34 [GeForce FX 5200] (rev a1) (prog- if 00 [VGA controller]) Worked fine until updates of feb 25 '08. Updates from yesterday, 27 feb '08. corrupted my graphics configuration. (I've restricted drivers enabled). After booting it came up asking me the graphics -card. I selected the nVidia mentioned, but the usual test after that kept failing. I had to continue with low graphic mode. Once in the X menu, first there were no restricted drivers, but after today's updates there was. I enabled. Still I can't increase my screen resolution. After I tried a wrong monitortype, my screen got meshed up. After rebooting I couln't read the screen anymore. I rebooted in rescue-mode. trying displayconfig-gt it got empty on me too! -- displayconfig-gtk shows empty selection in its window https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/195675 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
