I cannot locate the cell format option [hh]:mm:ss in OpenOffice. It is possible we are using different versions (mine is OpenOffice.org core 1:2.3.0-lubuntu 5.3, Tue Nov 27 18:52:42 GMT 2007).
I have tried all the different time format and custom format options in Excel, and the behaviour of the spreadsheet does not change. The sum function always adds to the correct total time (72:32:00). Perhaps the sum resetting at 24:00 is the way Calc is suppose work!
