Looks like they're still working on the ath5k driver, however, since it's been included in the master kernel git tree it means that it's passed whatever standards drivers typically need to be included in the kernel. And that's a good thing. :)
Theoretically it should be possible to test drive the driver right now by using the following steps: 1. svn co http://svn.madwifi.org/ath5k/trunk ./ath5k-source 2. cd ath5k-source 3. make 4. sudo make install 5. sudo modprobe ath5k More info is available in the README file and at http://linuxwireless.org/en/users/Drivers/ath5k. You can also browse the source code in SVN at http://madwifi.org/browser/ath5k/trunk. -- [Hardy, Gutsy] Wireless adapter not detected on MacBook Pro rev.3 (santa rosa) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/125919 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
