I am unable to reproduce this bug. The screen I have for adding buddies
is different from yours. you seem to be using an older version of pidgin
as the version currently used in GUTSY is 1:2.2.1-1ubuntu4.1.
please check the version installed on your system (1:2.2.0-1ubuntu1?)
I am marking this bug as Incomplete, once you submit the needed
information make sure you change the status back to new. we thank you
