Well, for schroedinger it doesn't matter much as only the gstreamer plugin is used by other packages and this didn't change API or anything.
For liboil it's another story unfortunately, it didn't change API (except from additions) but I can't gurarantuee that it works on other CPUs than mine without problems. In the past it had some bugs, caused by wrong usage of some instructions or broken CPU detection and at least for ARM there are some bugs in the new version (which of course doesn't matter for Ubuntu). Also it would be nice to get some wider testing before... I'll upload a package in a few minutes and call for testing in IRC. Whatever, I know of a single person until now where liboil crashes, that might have some other reasons though... still not good I guess :) -- Update schroedinger to 1.0.0 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/195374 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
