Maximilian, which alexandria version did you try in Hardy? The one in the repository is (unfortunately) still 0.6.1, whereas we have just released version 0.6.3. You can find packages (also for Hardy) in our PPA at https://launchpad.net/~alexandria-team/+archive. We are trying to get 0.6.3 into Hardy, but we missed the feature frees deadline. We're doing the best we can (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alexandria/+bug/191905).
