Public bug reported: Binary package hint: thunderbird
Not sure if the Thunderbird package is monitored for TODO keywords, so here's a separate bug report: the packages description of Thunderbird is "Thunderbird is a mail/news/RSS client. XXX Todo" (see http://packages.ubuntu.com/hardy/thunderbird). This also appears in the "Add/Remove Applications" dialog in Ubuntu (Hardy) itself, which make this marker visible to many users. I think the description should not contain this TODO marker - at least remove the marker and just keep the short description. Also, here's an extended description text that could be used instead: Thunderbird is a lightweight mail/news/RSS client, based on the Mozilla suite. It supports different mail accounts (POP, IMAP, Gmail), has an integrated learning Spam filter, and offers easy organization of mails with tagging and virtual folders. Also, many more features can be added by installing additional extensions. Do you think that mentions all important points? ** Affects: thunderbird (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Thunderbird package description ends with "XXX Todo" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/195059 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
