" Is this still a problem? Looking at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingPrintingProblems does disabling AppArmor with sudo aa-complain cupsd make a difference? "
After applying the patch over a week ago now, my printer has been working well, without random stoppages halfway through pages. So, as far as I'm concerned, the patch works. But I've noticed at least one other person who seems to be having less luck than me, so whether it is still a problem depends on whether others are still having the problem. The AppArmor thing looks interesting, but it's too late for me since the patch seems to have fixed it. I'm also still wondering why it only affects Ubuntu and not Kubuntu, and why their cups configs are so different. -- Printing fails in Ubuntu, works in Kubuntu https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/182549 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
