Basilio, I can no longer reproduce the problem. There was a batch of updates this morning, but nothing that looked really related to my issue -- I'm not even sure the issue wasn't resolved by rebooting even before installing the updates. Anyway, the problem is solved now. Thank you for trying to help me out...
