I am able to reproduce this 100% with the following steps. 1) Open alacarte, but don't do anything. 2) Make a single right click on something in the right (Items) pane, such as a menu item or separater 3) Important: Do not click anything on the right-click popup! 4) Click twice on [CLOSE]. The first click will dismiss the popup menu. The second will close alacarte (:P) but then immediately bring up the apport report.
