I'm running Gutsy Gibbon with all updates. This happens to me also. In fact this has happened with all my installations of Gutsy on entirely different hardware. The only similarity is that I've been using Samba, and I got into the habit of using /mnt for my mounts. It seemed like a good place to do it. I guess now I'll be using /media.
