SOLVED: all you have to do is install libstdc++5 package.

Why it's not default with Ubuntu? Dunno.

And still don't know why my existing system suddenly refused to work.
But it is possible, that I was installing some development packages for
some reason, unfortunately i got rid of this installation so i cannot
check it now.
