I closed this bug report because the bug is fixed in the current development release which will be out in April. Ubuntu 7.10 is not fixed and will likely never will. Fixing the bug in 7.10 would mean having a new release of iTalc being introduced in a released version of Ubuntu which is not something possible. (Updates are only patches added to the current version of the package, not introducing a new one)
