I just tried to install Hardy Alpha 4 as well as the Feb-16 daily. I also tried it without the network cable attached. The install fails when it tries to install grub. This is an AMD64 system, using an NForce570 chipset and a SATA drive with an NVIDIA graphics card.
What is strange about the system is that the hard drive is one that was previously used as one member of a raid install.
