I can also confirm that on my Samsung !45 with Intel X3100 graphics adding INTEL_BATCH="1" to /etc/environment and putting the following into my xorg.conf: Option "AccelMethod" "EXA" Option "ExaNoComposite" "false" Option "MigrationHeuristic" "greedy"
solved my problems with X! Scrolling firefox is fast as in gutsy, compiz works, no window shadow corruption and videos work as well. Maybe this should be considered instead of just reverting to XAA. -- EXA is balls-achingly slow https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/177492 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
