Public bug reported: Hi there, i have a wireless network with a WEP key.
For some reason when entering into network-admin the key is hashed out. To enter this dialogue you needed to enter your password. However, ANY user can easily find this WEP key by a simple "nano /etc/network/interfaces" I think the passwords need encrypting somehow. Pricey ** Affects: Ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed ** Visibility changed to: Public -- WEP keys can be found. https://launchpad.net/bugs/63394 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
