Binary package hint: qtparted
When trying to create a partition on an usb-stick qtparted reports success.
However the partition is not created. When qtparted is started from terminal,
terminal gives
Error: Input/output error, während auf /dev/sdc geschrieben wurde.
what translates to something like
Error: Input/output error, while writing to /dev/sdc
qtparted reports success nevertheless.
Exact phrase is:
Aktionen erfolgreich beendet.
i.e.
Actions successfully finished.
The usb-stick is defect, but qtparted should not report success, should
it?
Tested with fat32, fat16 and ext2. Not always reproducible, since
qtparted sometimes hangs when confirming the create dialog but before
actually performing the action. Version is 0.4.5-cvs
