Public bug reported:

Some people try out Ubuntu, but won't install it and use it. Sometimes
"eye-candyness" and user-friendliness are not enough.

If they knew how important GNU/Linux is, and Freedomware in general,
most of them would stick to it.

For this reason, I find it useful for the Ubuntu community to support
www.getgnulinux.org, a website maintained by the non-profit that takes
care of Freedomware marketing. For example, you have the "Ubuntu Help
Center" and the "About Ubuntu" applications, where you might point
newcomers to getgnulinux.org if they want to learn about Linux.

This was partially fixed for Kubuntu in Bug #107062.
