Public bug reported: Since the upgrade to the kernel the ThinkVantage key no longer seems to work.
It is assigned to open Rhythmbox and is still showing up as being assigned but pressing the key does nothing. I have tried mapping it to do other things but it doesn't even register that a key has been pressed. I am running up to date Hardy here, upgraded from Gutsy but have checked to see if it works with the latest live cd and it does not. I have tried manually and automatically loading thinkpad_acpi but it doesn't seem to make any difference. All the other hot keys seem to work fine. I am running a Lenovo R61. Do I need to provide any more information? ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [Hardy] ThinkVantage key no longer working https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/190258 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
