Public bug reported:

Hey guys,
Up until Hardy, it has been easy to enable fastwrites and SBA for my one
system and a few clients I have.
Normally I open /etc/modprobe.d/nvidia-kernel-nkc and add
options nvidia NVreg_EnableAGPSBA=1 NVreg_EnableAGPFW=1 and all is right with
the agp world.
Now nothing happens at all.
When I restart after adding that line and then cat
/proc/driver/nvidia/agp/status both fastwrites and SBA remain disabled.
Not sure of the solution , however I personally have several machines that
still have agp cards and I know some of my clients do for sure and they will be
upgrading to hardy after its release.
Just thought you should know
