I have the same problem - phpinfo shows like this:
supported databases MySQL ODBC PostgreSQL Microsoft SQL Server
FrontBase Oracle 8 (oci8) Sybase-CT
so it does not seem to be problem with php itself
but egroupware setup shows:
Checking php.ini: include_path contain .:
ini_get('include_path')='.'
[Warning] Checking extension mysql is loaded or loadable: False
so ?
