Followed the recipe indicated. The results: 1st Sleep - All fans turned off, power light blinking, resumed successfully. 2nd Sleep - All fans still on, power light solid, no response on resume
Dmesg output is included as an attachment (clever trick storing source location hashes in the RTC, by the way). Anyways the highlight is: [ 33.316217] Magic number: 0:716:379 [ 33.316221] hash matches /build/buildd/linux-2.6.24/drivers/base/power/main.c:97 I can't seem to get to the Ubuntu kernel sources at this moment, but if it's not to far off the mainline drop that would put it in device_pm_remove(), which has a nice comment about it deadlocking if it's called during suspend. ** Attachment added: "Dmesg output after failed sleep" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/11765766/dmesg.txt -- ATA exception on resume from sleep https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/159421 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
