For Hardy, this is due to the lack of redirected-direct-rendering, which
is bug #147359. Marking as a duplicate, since the Gutsy bug seems
unlikely to be fixed with a Stable Release Update. You could file the
Gutsy bug again, particularly if you can attach a crash log from
/var/crash, but Hardy is where the majority of the development effort is
going.
