Public bug reported: Binary package hint: network-manager
nm-applet won't connect to the wired network connection properly. It connects, I can ping out, but it won't stop spinning. There is some step that it hasn't yet completed because it drops the connection and re-negotiates DHCP. I can watch this with a ping session. Everything will ping fine for a minute or so, then there will be a 5-6 second period where nm-applet will try to renegotiate DHCP and the connection is dropped. I have another Ubuntu Gutsy laptop on the same network and it works fine. Which leads me to believe I've screwed something up in the configuration. ** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- nm-applet won't stop spinning for wired connection https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/188766 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
