I sympathize with there being little to do about a nonfree binary-only plugin. Is there a way to warn people a bit more forcefully, however?
Gmail in Firefox was crashing on me, too. It took me a while to figure out what was going on, plus a Google search for: gmail firefox crash site:launchpad.net The first three search terms anybody can guess, but I'm not sure they know the last one to get to this bug report. Makes upgrading to Edgy kinda scary.
